I love the end of a year. It’s time for reflection on what has transpired over the year: the good, the bad, the fun and the ugly. I sit back and assess what I liked and didn’t. It’s the only way to change and grow. This blog is a great example of that…last year I decided I was going to do something that was just for me, something I loved and was passionate about. Here’s to a New Year filled with aspirations of health, happiness, and most of all an inspiration to try new things!
I currently plan for 2014:
- Make at least 10 of the recipes from Plenty. This book is beyond any “vegetarian” cookbook you will ever read! The pictures alone want to make you never eat meat again.
- Deepen my yoga practice, add Megabarre to my exercise routine. Click on the link to find my local hotspot. It’s a machine called “Mega former machine”- worth googling to find in your local area.
- Post twice a week to my blog!
- Cookbooks I want to get to know better: a platter of figs and other recipes and Sorrella -these chicks rule! Never mind the awesome pictures, the story of them is intriguing and the food looks divine. I want to hang out with these women- they have grit, along with some serious knowledge of food.
I can’t wait to get started on some exciting new recipes for the year 2014.
Happy New Year!
